Vinci Energies, through its subsidiary TCI+, has acquired X-Rail Signalisation, strengthening its presence in Quebec’s rail transport sector and the wider Canadian public transport market.
“This acquisition aligns perfectly with our strategy of expansion in Canadian energy and transport infrastructure,” said Philippe Peter, Managing Director of Vinci Energies Canada Infra. “Synergies with TCI+ and its subsidiaries, and with our business units specialising in this segment in Europe, will enable us to offer even greater performance and safety in our solutions across the entire territory.”
Founded in 1996, X-Rail Signalisation specialises in rail safety, providing:
- Installation and maintenance of railway signalling systems.
- Modernisation and refurbishment of existing equipment.
- Compliance verification with safety standards.
- Emergency response services to maintain rail network performance.
Vinci Energies aims to contribute to sustainable mobility solutions in Canada, where significant rail corridor improvement and infrastructure modernisation projects are underway.
