InnoTrans has started the year with strong exhibitor interest, with more than 85 percent of the exhibition space already booked. This reflects the rail and mobility industry’s continued enthusiasm for the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology. The 15th edition of InnoTrans, marking its 30th anniversary, will take place at the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds from 22 to 25 September 2026.
The previous edition of the exhibition set multiple records. According to organisers, InnoTrans 2024 featured the largest exhibition space since its launch in 1996, covering 200,000 square metres. A total of 2,940 exhibitors from 59 countries participated, showcasing 226 world premieres. Additionally, 133 vehicles were displayed on 3,500 metres of track.
The event also welcomed 32 international associations from 17 countries and 27 transport companies from 15 countries. Around 170,000 visitors from 133 countries attended InnoTrans 2024.
InnoTrans 2026: Railway Influencer Festival continues into the next edition
At the Railway Influencer Festival during InnoTrans 2024, around 80 participants networked in a relaxed setting. The festival facilitated valuable connections, such as that between influencer Enya and YouTuber Tom Thornton, who have since launched a collaborative YouTube series.
“We want to use our content to show that adventures don’t always require long, expensive air travel—they are often right on your doorstep. In our new series, we’re discovering almost forgotten stops, known as on-demand stops. It’s incredibly fun, and we’re delighted with the growing support from our community,” they stated.
Further information about participants and award winners is available at innotrans.com.
In 2026, InnoTrans will once again host the Railway Influencer Festival, providing a platform to connect the growing railway influencer community with industry experts, companies, and mobility enthusiasts worldwide.
“The Railway Influencer Festival has demonstrated the importance and influence of the digital community within the rail and mobility industry. We look forward to continuing this innovative format at InnoTrans 2026, creating new opportunities for influencers and companies,” said Kerstin Schulz, Director of InnoTrans.
