TMH PRO, part of Transmashholding, signed agreements with four professional organisations with experience in maintenance and repair services for shunting locomotives to ensure the operability of the fleet operated in the interests of TMH customers.
The documents were signed within the framework of the international rail event PRO//Motion.Expo held in Shcherbinka District, Moscow Oblast.
The agreements were signed with Shadrinskaya Repair Company, which will carry out maintenance and repair services for the equipment in the Ural Federal District, Baltiyskaya Proizvodstvennaya Kompaniya Okvey – OCWAY, which will be responsible for the services in the North-West Federal District, Borodinsky Mechanical Repair Plant which will provide services for Siberian Federal District and VKM in the Central Federal District.
Under the agreements, the service partner, LokoTech-Promservice, will provide the main depot with technical and technological support in the course of servicing, maintenance and overhaul of shunting diesel locomotives particularly to the TEM2 and TEM18 locomotives, but also to other models. The services will be carried out in accordance with specifications and other regulatory documents of the locomotive manufacturer – Bryansk Machine Building Plant, which is also part of TMH. Under the agreement, certified spare parts and consumables will be supplied to dealers.
“This is a very important step in the development of a centrally controlled network of companies providing maintenance and repair services in different regions and operate at the same standards. All service depots will be certified. The key requirement is equipping with special tools, modern diagnostic and repair equipment, as well as the use of original spare parts and consumables for all types of work. Professional development of technical personnel of dealer service depots will take place at the corporate university of LokoTech,” Kirill Toropov, TMH PRO General Director said.
Through these agreements with private repair enterprises, TMH PRO is solving the problem of expanding its presence in various regions of Russia and meeting the needs of partners in qualified service of locomotives according to the manufacturer’s standards.
The production base of the company consists of 9 locomotive repair plants and about 90 service depots throughout Russia, which are part of the LokoTech company, which forms a single group with TMH.
