With more than 43 years of experience, voestalpine VAE APCAROM has managed to strengthen its market position, being the most reliable supplier of rail equipment for railway, subway and tram, as well as for companies with in-house industrial lines, in Romania. Part of a high technology group, voestalpine VAE APCAROM has reinvested its profits to develop its engineering and production systems over time, in order to reach best quality and cost efficient products.
During its integration in voestalpine VAE GmbH Group – Metal Engineering Division of voestalpine Ag, the company supplied switches and spare parts to various foreign markets, such as Greece, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Austria, Serbia, Bulgaria, Germany, Belgium, India, Brasil. Similarly, in pursuit of its secondary business line, the company has delivered coach screws to Netherlands, Spain, Lithuania, Austria, Denmark.
As a follow-up of the project with European funding implemented over the past years, the company started to invest its own resources to increase the production capacity in the tram sector, with an impact that will be noticed from the next financial year.
The company aims to continue developing its products and processes, relying on its international know-how network. voestalpine VAE APCAROM also aims at strengthening its position both inside the Group and in its partnerships with customers on the domestic market.
