In the first half of 2016, PJSC RPC United Wagon Company (RPC UWC) produced 6.8 thousand railcars, which represents an increase of 15% compared to the same period last year. The stronger performance resulted from the holding’s growing production capacities and an increase in the portfolio of orders.
In the second quarter, the company received certificates for two new railcar models. Therefore, the current product range comprises 24 railcar models.
Since the start of the year, the fleet of railcars owned and managed by the company increased by 5% to 28.6 thousand.
