The reconstruction project of the Belgrade-Bar railway will start by the end of 2015, Serbian construction minister Zorana Mihajlovic said. The project will be funded with the help of a $200 million (189 million euros) Russian loan, Zorana Mihajlovic added.
The reconstruction works will last at least one year. The project includes the upgrade of a total of 200 km of rail track on Serbia’s territory.
The 476 km railway connects the Serbian capital with the town of Bar, a major sea port in Montenegro.
