The Ukrainian Government is searching for new markets for its freight cars, and is targeting especially the Eastern markets, such as Kazakhstan, Egypt and Iran. The strategy of the freight car marketing was discussed at the meeting held by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
“With the short-term prospective of lifting economic sanctions off Iran, the development of the Ukrainian export becomes a priority not only in agriculture, but also in energy, machine-building, aviation, transport (especially car-building), as well as construction of infrastructure and industrial sites,” Deputy Minister Ruslan Korzh said.
