Turkish Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mehmet Müezzinoğlu, announced that Bursa city would see the commercial service of the high speed rail network very soon. Also, the Turkish city will have a metro network.
”The tender for the high speed train will be organised in May 2017. Also, Bursa will benefit from the full suport of the Government in Ankara for the development of a metro network”, Müezzinoğlu said.
“There are two services Bursa expects. One of them is a high speed train. Hopefully all the tender for the high-speed trains will end by May. In the coming period we will all be together in Bursa to meet the high speed train. The metro is now important for Bursa city transport. Ankara will provide any kind of support to ensure that the Metronun Bursa offers the comfort it deserves. The citizens in Bursa said they would have a civilized and modern access to public transport”, the Minister added.
