Services have been initiated on the long-awaited express rail line connecting Union Station in Toronto’s downtown and Pearson International Airport. The line has two intermediary stations and cuts the journey time between the destination points to 25 minutes, with trains departing every 15 minutes. Travelers can benefit from a food and beverage service on the train, as well as free Wi-Fi.
The construction of some of the sound walls along the line was delayed by both the harsh winter and negociations with homeowners, but the rest of the sound walls should be up by late summer or fall.
