The construction Dingpu Station on Line 5 of Taipei metro has been completed, and it is expected to be open in June Taipei Mayor Eric Chu said.
The station is an extension of the Yongning Station on the southern end of metro line 5 and it “major milestone in the city’s metro development plan. Dingpu Station is the end of the No. 5 line, but it is also the starting point of the Sanying Line,” Chu said.
Last mounth, the authorities approved plans for the Sanying Line in order to speed up the construction on the MRT lines serving New Taipei City’s Tucheng, Sansia and Yingge districts.
