Sunhill Technologies, a provider of parking and mobile ticketing services, announced the introduction of a cashless ticketing method on public transport in Cologne, telecompaper.com informs. The transport company KVB has integrated the payment function into its iOS and Android app “KVB mobil”, allowing passengers to pay for tickets from their smartphone without registration. The amount will be added to the mobile phone bill. The new service is available for all “HandyTickets” within the transport association Rhein-Sieg (VRS).
