Builders Strabag and KZA submitted the best bid in the tender for modernizing a railway stretch within the city of Krakow, railway infrastructure manager PKP PLK decided. The value of the bid is of net PLN 966.14 mln (EUR 222.8 million). The contract with the builders will be signed at the turn of the quarter and the investment is to be completed in 2021.
The lowest bid in the tender (PLN 958 mln net – EUR 220.9 million) was submitted by a consortium of Mota-Engil, listed builder Mostostal Warszawa and Acciona, but the offer was rejected by PKP PLK
