Sirkeci railway station, which used to be the last stop for main and suburban trains in Turkish European side, will be now renovated in order to host two new museums: Istanbul City Museum and Istanbul Railway Museum. The old 8.5 km long line between Kazlicesme and Sirkeci, which is no more used by suburban trains – they are going underground-, will also be renewed as city park where line will available for a light railway system and also for passanger trains coming from Europe.
