Attiko Metro has announced that three bidders were shortlisted for Alsos Veikou – Goudi section on Athens metro Line 4. By December 2018, the selected companies will have to submit their technical and financial offers.
The shortlisted consortia are:
Tepna – Vinci – Siemens AG “TVS”
J+P Avax – Ghella – Alstom
Aktor – Ansaldo STP – Hitachi Rail Italy
The contract envisages the preparation of the final design and detailed final design, the construction of civil works, the the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the electromechanical and railway equipment, the maintenance of the project, the training of the personnel and the supply of the spare parts for Alsos Veikou – Goudi metro section.
The criterion for contract award is the most advantageous offer from a financial point of view, on the basis of the optimum quality-to-price ratio.
The project’s budget rises to the amount of EUR 1.5 billion and its construction is foreseen to take 8 years.
