Shanghai Rail Transit Line Two Development Co., Ltd. awarded CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Rail Transport (NPRT) a USD 78.7 million contract for the supply of metro cars.
The new vehicles will be put into operation on the Shanghai Metro Line 2, and are scheduled to be delivered between January – November 2018.

optimistic tha NPRT is well-positioned to expand its market share as new opportunities continue to emerge in China’s rail sector,” Patrick Chew, Midas CEO said.
Midas has a 32.5% equity stake in NPRT, a Sino-foreign joint venture, engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of metro trains, bogies and their related parts.
