Serbian railway operator Zeleznice Srbije will lay off approx. 2,000 people within the next 12 months and another 4,000 in the following four years, according to Transport Minister Zorana Mihajlovic. The total number of Zeleznice Srbije’s employees was just over 17,000 in January 2015.
