Serbia will soon complete works on Gilje-Cuprija-Paracin railway line, as part of Corridor 10. The project involved the construction of 10.5 km of a second track on this route that is designed for train speeds of 167 km per hour.
Italian company, Italiana costruzioni executes the necessary works with experts of Siemens monitoring, which have been finishing electrical contact network and placing signal devices.
Constructors are expecting to finalize date of works completion and in October will be put into operations.
The construction of the bridge and this railroad section was funded through the EIB loan and the investor is Zeleznice Srbije.
