The project for the second phase of the reconstruction of Prokop railway station (Belgrade) has been approved by Serbia’s Infrastructure Ministry. The project envisages the construction of the upper floor of the station intended for retail use, as well as access roads from the Nis-Belgrade motorway.
The railway station will start handling trains on the lines connecting Belgrade to Montenegro’s Bar from 15 July, when the first phase of the reconstruction of the Resnik-Valjevo line is completed. The first phase of the reconstruction of the railway station was carried out by Energoprojekt and was completed in January 2016.
