Russian Government elaborated a federal draft law on ratifying the Agreement on Kyrgyzstan’s Accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and related protocols that were submitted by the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Government submitted the Agreement on Kyrgyz Accession to the Eurasian Economic Union to the Russian President for ratification.
The draft law proposes ratifying the Agreement on Kyrgyzstan’s Accession to the Eurasian Economic Union dated 29 May 2014.
The Agreement on Accession is the basic document that defines the agreements between the parties according to the terms of Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. The protocols will be an integral part of the Agreement on Accession and form the regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union established by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union dated 29 May 2014. The draft documents were approved by Russian Government resolutions on 26 February 2015 and on 9 March 2015.
The draft law was considered and approved at the Russian Government meeting on 11 June 2015.
