A group of Dutch companies, in partnership with government departments, aims to develop an intermodal rail service to the Southern Polish industrial region of Silesia.
For this purpose, they have established a Partners for International Business covenant. Besides the Port of Rotterdam Authority, this includes Boekesteijn Transport Service, Clip Logistics, ERS Railways, Royal Dutch Transport Federation, Nijman/Zeetank, Nijhof Wassink, Panteia, Seacon Logistics Group and Van den Bosch.
The covenant has a budget of 600,000 euro and is supported by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Dutch Embassy in Warsaw.
