Rail Cargo Hungary has entered the agreement rules that govern the use of freight wagons in international traffic that were set out by the Organization for Cooperation of Railways (OSShD). The move reduces transit times between Hungary and the CIS.
By agreeing to the OSShD-rules, Rail Cargo Hungary is now able to carry out handling and onward transportation on the broad gauge even more efficiently. Railfreight transport from the Hungarian border crossing at Záhony towards the east has become even easier.
