A consortium of Budimex and ZUE with Strabag units inked a contract with PKP PLK for railway works on the Sochaczew-Swarzedz railway stretch. The total value of the contract is net PLN 560 mln (132.4 mln euros). The net sum is composed of PLN 496 mln (117.3 mln euros) of construction works and a PLN 64 mln (15.1 mln euros) conditional sum, which can be used for covering cost of works not specified in the contract but necessary to realize the project. ZUE’s share in the contract stands at ca. PLN 233 mln (55.1 mln euros), while Budimex’s share in the consortium stands at 33%.
