PKP Cargo, the European Union’s second-biggest rail freight operator, is looking to buy Unipetrol Dobrava, the freight unit of Czech oil refiner Unipetrol, daily Parkiet reportes, quoted by Reuters. A transaction could be worth around 2 billion Czech crowns (USD 81 million).
At the end of May PKP Cargo won the biggest tender for the transportation of coal this year. Also in May, the company finally completed the purchase of the second largest rail carrier in the Czech Republic, AWT.
