After ten years of delays, works began to the extension of T4 tram line in the Parisian region. The additional section, for which there were promises since 2006, will be put into operation since 2019 and will connect several communes (especially Clichy-sous-Bois and Montfermeil) to Paris. The line extension project was delayed after the neighbouring communes Livry-Gargan and Pavillons-sous-Bois opposed to the project because of future inconveniences caused by the construction site.
