Ottawa city has launched the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for design, build, finance and maintenance of the Trillium Line South. The deadline for submitting proposals is June, 6, 2017.
The Trillium Line South is one of the three Stage 2 extensions to Ottawa’s O-Train system planned between 2018 and 2023.
Trillium Line is an existing line with 8 km of track and 5 stations and will be extended from Greenboro to Bowesville in Riverside South. Along with additional 3 km spur line will provide a connection to the Macdonald-Cartier International Airport. In total, the extensions will add 11 km of track and 7 new stations to the 8 km and 4 stations that Trillium Line provides today.
