Nizhnyaya Maslovka to be the last deep-level metro station built in Moscow

metrou-moscovaNizhnyaya Maslovka will be the last deep-level metro station built in Moscow, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Urban Development and Construction Marat Khusnullin said. “Nizhnyaya Maslovka is the last deep-level station to be built. In Moscow, we gave up on deep stations as they are very difficult to construct. They require proper shafts, which is more expensive and time-consuming,” the Deputy Mayor said.
Nizhnyaya Maslovka station will be launched in 2018 and it is the only deep-level station on the first section of the Third Interchange Circuit. The station will provide convenient transfer from the Third Interchange Circuit to the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya Line of the Moscow Metro.
