National Transport Authority (NTA) and the Railway Procurement Agency (RPA) and Transdev Dublin Light Rail Limited signed the operation contract of the new Luas, which includes responsibility for the maintenance of the Luas infrastructure and rolling stock through a number of novated maintenance contracts.
The existing Luas operation contract, which is between the Railway Procurement Agency and Transdev Dublin Light Rail Limited, is due to expire on the 28th September 2014. The new contract will be between the National Transport Authority, the Railway Procurement Agency and Transdev Dublin Light Rail Limited and is for a period of 5 years. The new contract is worth approximately EUR 150 mln.
