Since September 2014, one of the most popular journey planner apps in the emerging markets – TRAFI – is available in Latvia. This free tool provides an opportunity for a quicker and more comfortable journey through Riga, Jelgava and Liepaja by public transportation.
This mobile app provides information about the real location of a vehicle in Liepaja, using information from GPS devices installed in trams etc.; moreover, it calculates the precise time of arrival at a certain destination. This makes the information in the app more reliable and precise as that presented in transportation schedules.
Since September this mobile app is working also in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn.
