Dutch railway operator Nederlandse Spoorwegen has sold its unit, public transport company Qbuzz, to Busitalia, a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane (FS Group). The deal value was not disclosed. The contract pends approval from Dutch market regulator ACM. Qbuzz operates services in Utrecht, Drenthe and Groningen and it has been a 100% subsidiary of Nederlandse Spoorwegen since 2013. Busitalia has 4,000 employees and a turnover of EUR 350m.
