Prodemex (Promotora y Desarrolladora de México), Proacon México and Desarrollo de Terracerías won a Pesos 1.68 billion (USD 107 million) contract to carry out civir works on metro Line 12 extension.
The first stage of the project involves the construction of 3.9 km of new line, from Mixcoac to Observatorio. This station will be an interchange with Line 1 with intermediate stations at Valentín Campa and Álvaro Obregón. The works should start in July and will be completed at the end of 2016.
According to the Ministry of Works and Services of the District, 26 companies formed consortia and were submitted 11 proposals from 14 companies.
