“Macedonia will also get new railway stations. The railway station in Skopje is expected to be completely reconstructed this summer. Despite the Skopje station, works will be launched to modernize the railway stations in Veles, Prilep, Bitola, Gevgelija, Bogomila, Caska, Tabanovce, Demir Kapija, Gradsko and Negotino,” the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said.
The reconstruction of the Skopje train station, needs EUR 2,6 million investment, PM said.
The operation “Rehabilitation and upgrading of the Railway Stations Skopje according to the EU best practices” is financed under IPA Component III – Regional Development.
