Kazakhstan’s state-owned railway carrier is selling a 49 percent stake in the fixed operator Transtelecom under the state privatisation programme, reports Profit.kz. Transtelecom is one of the largest Kazakhstan opertors and is included in the list of strategic objects formed by the Kazakshtan government. The initial price for the stake is KZ Tenge 8.94 billion (EUR 42.2 mln).
