These trains will connect the centre of Moscow with the three airports. As of the middle of 2015, the trains will operate on the commuter railway lines between the centre of Moscow and the three international airports of Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo and Domodedovo
In 2013, Stadler Rail Group and Aeroexpress signed the contract for the supply of 25 double deck KISS type trains. The contract, worth a total of EUR 350m. The new double-deck fleet will allow a 30-40% increase in the transport capacity of Aeroexpress trains.
