Two stations Sairan and Moskva are to be launched at the Almaty metro, mayor of Almaty city Akhmetzhan Yessimov announced, writes Kazinform.
“I’ve already made it public that construction of the new stations wrapped up in December 2014. They are being tested right now. If the trial process is successful, the new stations will be added in the first half of 2015. The Almaty authorities spent 8 billion tenge (EUR 38 million) on the construction process,” Yessimov said.
According to the mayor, more than 24 thousand people use the Almaty metro transport daily.
