Iran’s First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri inaugurated the first passenger train traveling from Gorgan to Inche-Boroun in north of the country, IRNA reports.
The 4-wagon train consists will carry 336 people in each of its four trips a day and will cover a 75 km distance Gorgan in north of the country to Inche-Boroun which is located on border with Turkmenistan.
President Rouhani launched a railway project in this location last year which connects Iran to Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan for trade purposes.
