Grand Power Logistics Group Inc. has expanded its operations in China to include a cross continental rail service, from the Chinese city of Suzhou throughout Russia and Europe, ending in Hamburg, Germany.
The newly formed route bridges the gap between air and sea, with containers arriving in approximately double the time as air shipping, but in less than approximately a third the time as shipping the same by sea.
“… It is a great compromise between higher costing air shipping and slower but cheaper ocean shipping. It provides an additional dimension of shipping options and flexibility, and even opens up new market channels for goods which need to be delivered in a faster but more economical manner,” Ricky Chiu, president and CEO of Grand Power, said.
Grand Power operates principally through its wholly owned Hong Kong based subsidiary, Grand Power Express International Limited.
