As a result of signing MoU between Georgian Railway and Tracia Trading AG, the rail operator started the transportation of granulated sulfur.
It is considered to transport 500,000 t of freight each year, and it is planned to increase above mentioned freight to 1 million t.
The route of the freight is Turkmenbash-Baku-Poti, and the destination point is Morocco. By transporting the freight through Poti port and terminal USD 30 millions will go to the budget of the country.
