AB Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL, Stockholm Public Transportation) has selected Eltel as its maintenance partner for the Lidingöbanan and Spårväg City tram lines in Stockholm. The contract will start at the beginning of 2016 and will run until the end of 2021.
The six-year contract of Eltel’s Rail & Road business unit includes preventive and corrective maintenance and consists of maintenance and reinvestment projects on tracks, track foundations, catenary and signalling systems.
“We are looking forward to a good cooperation with Eltel and expect qualitative deliveries in a contract with high demands on functional commitment and long-term development,” Johan Staaf, contract manager at SL, said.
