European Young Innovators Forum signed a strategic innovation partnership agreement with Deutsche Bahn. Through its own innovation accelerator, DB mindbox, Deutsche Bahn offers opportunities to early stage startups to accelerate their ideas and bring innovation into the world of railway infrastructure and mobility. The accelerator focuses on railway infrastructure and mobility related startups, which introduce new technologies. The strategic innovation partnership with EYIF aims at increasing the awareness and impact of DB mindbox across Europe in the startup community and other relevant stakeholders.
Mindbox is now looking for tech startups in the fields of infrastructure, mobility and logistics to start the next accelerator programme of 3 months, starting on 14th October. The deadline for the 4th Batch of DB mindbox is 21st August and the Pitch Session for selected applicants will take place on 13th September, in Berlin. The winner will get 25.000€ for zero equity and will have direct access to DB data, its infrastructure and other benefits. Most significantly, every selected team will test and validate their prototypes in the live environment. Furthermore, the winning startups will have the advantage to use the DB coworking space in Berlin and receive active mentoring from DB high-ranking professionals.
