DEKRA enters its second contract with the German Federal Railway Authority for ongoing cooperation. DEKRA will continue to operate in an administrative support capacity by certifying the locations responsible for repairing freight cars. This cooperation extends through 31 August 2018.
The contract covers evaluating the conformity of the repair systems at locations responsible for repairing freight cars. DEKRA experts are also commissioned with checking the conformity of the repair systems of subcontractors performing repair functions. This will include initial assessment, initial audits and inspections, monitoring and recertification.
