Two of China’s top railway companies are reportedly keen to bid for the construction of the high-speed railway linking Kuala Lumpur to Singapore.
China Railway Construction Corporation and China Southern Railway are the two Chinese companies that are preparing to bid for the Kuala Lumpur – Singapore HSR, China.org.cn reports.
The tender is expected to be launch in June.
According to China.org.cn, Japan Railways, French firm Alstom and Siemens are said to be among some of the other bidders.
China.org.cn website reported that the two companies reportedly preparing to bid for the construction of the railway project are China Railway Construction Corporation and China Southern Railway.
