On 25 November 2014, CFR SA organises the open tender for the lease of 27 railway section (980.5 km), pertaining to the non-interoperable railway infrastructure.
If so far the railway sections used to be tendered in groups, as of October, the licensed railway transport operators could submit bids for one or more non-interoperable sections. The submitted bids will be opened on Tuesday, 25 November 2014, at 10:00 am, at the head office of the Romanian Commodities Exchange (BRM). The legal persons interested to participate in the tender will be able to submit the papers until the same day at 9:00 am. The validity duration of the leasing contract is 4 years and the attribution criterion will be the highest bid.
The 27 non-interoperable railway sections tendered on Tuesday, 25 November 2014, at BRM, pertain to the regional railway subsidiaries Bucharest, Craiova, Timişoara, Cluj, Braşov, Iaşi, Galaţi and Constanţa
