On June 23, 2015, CFR SA organises an open tender for the award of the contract to modernise 37 railway level crossings located in Galați and Iași regional subsidiaries.
The estimated value of the contract is EUR 4.57 mln (excluding VAT), the source of financing being provided by external grants from ERDF and state budget funds. Works should be completed within 48 months (24 months period of execution, 24 months warranty of the works), the lowest price put to offer being the selection criterion.
The modernization of the 37 level crossings located in Suceava, Iași, Bacău, Vaslui, Galați, Vrancea, Brăila and Buzău aims to improve traffic and to increase railway transport safety. The projects includes superstructure and infrastructure track works, signaling systems, as well as works on the telecommunications network.
The deadline for submission of bids is June 23, the opening of the offers submitted take place in the same day.
