Bulgaria’s National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) launched a BGN 361.5 million levs (EUR 184.8 million) tender for the modernisation of a railway section connecting the towns of Kostenets and Septemvri, in southern Bulgaria.
The section is part of the railway line connecting Sofia to Plovdiv. The tender envisages the construction of three tunnels and 23 bridges. The deadline for submitting offers is 9 October. The project is financed from the EU’s Operational Programme Transport 2014-2020.
