Following an appeal made by Siemens, the State Council has suspended a contract of EUR 30 Million attributed in December 2014 by railway infrastructure manager Infrabel to Alstom. The contract included the supply of equipment for train tracking on the railway segments. According to sources, the problems included procedural flaws because the parties failed to translate the documents and also to carefully analyse the price of the offers.
