Infrabel and SNCB have presented the new operating centre called Railway Operations Center (ROC), which reunites the operating centres for the railway transport management of Infrabel (Traffic Control) and SNCF (Reizigers Dispatching Voyageur).
The two centres collaborate directly through the ROC platform to improve communication and dealing with accidents. The new platform will permit speeding up the identification of solutions to solve the incidents and reduce train delays. The ROC development project lasted 8 months and amounted to EUR 1.5 Million.
