Moscow Central Ring passengers can pay for trips using Apple Pay that can be done at ticket offices, ticket machines and directly through turnstiles. To pay, the passenger will line up its iPhone or Apple Watch with a special reader, and the fare will be charged from the bank account linked to Apple Pay.
“Now any MCR passenger can pay the fare at ticket offices, ticket machines or directly through turnstiles using the most advanced payment method-Apple Pay. I’m sure that thanks to Apple Pay, the number of passengers using innovative payment services will increase significantly,” Deputy Mayor for transport and Road Infrastructure Development Maxim Liksutov said.
