RZD International and a group of Vietnamese investors headed by Lung Lo Construction Corporation signed a partnership agreement for the construction of a light rail line linking Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province.
The line will be constructed starting Tan Tạo, crossing the city through Linh Dong before reaching to the planned Long Thanh Airport (in Dong Nai Province), which will be Ho Chi Minh’s second airport.
The airport is situated 45 km north-east outside Ho Chi Minh City.
The signed document defines the main principles of the further cooperation on the development of the project and it also establishes the roles of the parties at the current phase of collaboration.
Under the agreement, RZD International will provide expert support and prepare preliminary feasibility study for the project in accordance with the best Russian and world’s practices.
