Train ticket retailer Trainline has signed a partnership with Austrian railway company ÖBB, which will allow Trainline to provide its customers with full coverage of Austrian rail and coach services. This deal transforms Trainline into the only independent digital platform to connect all Austria’s carriers. Trainline’s partnership with ÖBB already includes saver tickets on all train routes in Austria and will soon offer access to the Nightjet service, for overnight train travel from Austria to popular destinations in neighbouring countries.
Trainline also connects customers, on a single journey, to carriers in neighbouring countries including Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic. Passengers can book tickets through Trainline’s website and app, as well as access real-time information, such as platform numbers and journey live-tracking, in the Trainline app while on the go.
