CAF announced that it has entered into a contract with Naples City Council for the supply of 10 units of 6 cars for Line 1 of the city’s metro system. Under the contract, the new vehicles will be delivered in 2019.
This project award was provisionally announced in mid-2016 for an approximate amount of EUR 90 million and envisages an extension of the original scope of supply with 10 additional trains.
